I have read every single one of your blog posts over the last day and wanted to say a massive THANK YOU for sharing your story of Lily. We found out at our 20 week ultrasound on Monday that our little boy is expected to be born with talipes in his left foot... so I've been doing lots of reading around as it was something I knew next to nothing about. I stumbled upon your blog when googling something or other... and it was only a few entries in when I realised Lily is being treated at the IWK. We live in England right now, but are planning on moving to Nova Scotia in a year or two, so it is GREAT to read of the great experiences you have had with the IWK as that would be where our little guy would be treated. Thank you so much for sharing your family's life over the past year and a half or so. It's been so helpful and reassuring to me! Sarah x
I am so happy to read this blog was a help! Everytime I am told this it fills my heart, and makes me tear up to know I was able to releive some stress for someone! I know exactly what you're going through! :) check out the steps charity site for the UK! I found their forums very helpful when we were learning about clubfoot! Good luck! It's all going to turn out great, trust me! The journey will be worth every up and down :)
