Some people are making a difference every day!
Big shout out to these wonderful people, for making the world a better place for clubfoot parents and kids all over the world! Miracle Feet
Lilybear is Almost 4!
So it has been a long time since I have posted anything on here! Life gets busy when your kids are growing up! :) I am happy to report that Lilybear is doing wonderful! Her feet are great! No issues since the last time I posted! We are hoping to get our next follow up appointment soon, and we may find out then if Lilybear will need additional surgery on her feet. We are hoping not. It would Prob be around school age, which is one more year for Lilybear!! Oh my! But I am hopeful she won't need it! I also discovered this great new site on Facebook, Clubfoot shoe exchange! Saved us a bunch on Lilybear's last set of boots! The site connects parents of children with Clubfoot, and enables them to donate their old boots and bars for families that are in need of them! We got Lilybear's last set for the cost of shipping from a wonderful lady in the states! Here is the link: Clubfoot Shoe Exchange
And finally, here is my Lilybear! Nearly 4 and doing grand! To all you mama's and papa's just starting out, you can do this! It is totally worth every tear, and struggle to get from where you are to here :) 1357 days including casting, boot wearing full/part days, trips from our home to the hospitals both near our home, and hours away, blisters, tears, steps, falls, ups and downs. . . . 1357 days and counting, but worth every second that I see my baby girl running, jumping, skipping, dancing, laughing, and loving her life. You take it one day at a time, and then look back and thank God for every single moment :)
